2004 VRSC Motorcycles
In creating the VRSCB model, the masterminds at the Willie G. Davidson Product Development Center decided to take the raw, aggressive nature of the VRSC family and add to it by subtracting. They started with the same DNA-aluminum body parts, 115-hp, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected Revolution engine, endless power when you twist the throttle and attitude oozing from every bend of metal. But then the styling department decided to get medieval. The frame is black. The powertrain is polished silver and black. And the components are kept minimalist. It takes a tough look and dials it up even further.
True to form, the original V-Rod® model is never one to be outdone. For 2004, the bodywork wears some bold, new shades, including a shadowy good Vivid Black. They give the V-Rod® a radical, unexpected look. We also gave the hydro-formed frame a new silver-leaf powder-coating for a more polished glow. Give it all a gaze, and the overall effect is undeniably jaw-dropping. V-Rod® models also get an instrument cluster upgrade. You'll find a more user-friendly fuel readout. We also refined the final gear ratio, so more of the trademark off-the-line jump can be achieved at lower RPMs.
